Why we need you:

The main objective of this role is to provide accurate and timely accounting and administrative support to the Controller.

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

  • To record and manage supplier invoices
  • To process supplier payments on weekly basis
  • To process expense reports in a timely manner
  • To reconcile and follow up receipts with expense reports
  • To prepare and process Visa statement
  • To follow up and match receipts with Visa statement
  • To record sales invoices and manage accounts receivables
  • To send invoices to clients
  • To process cash receipt from customers
  • To follow-up AR on weekly basis
  • To be the point of contact with suppliers and customers in case of invoice disputes
  • To pull out the bank of hours report at month end
  • To send bank of hours report to customers
  • To input bi-weekly salary per departments in QuickBooks
  • To assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • To format and assemble month end reporting packages
  • To notify the Controller of any anomaly, situation, or problem and, as necessary, propose solutions, changes, or improvements
  • To perform general clerical work (filing, organizing, scanning, copying)
  • To complete various administrative forms, draft correspondence, and type various documents in relation to area of activity
  • To assist other members of the division with any specific mandates
  • Other accounting and administrative related tasks as assigned appropriately

Qualifications and pre-requisites:

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Solid knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of Jira is an asset
  • Minimum 2-3 years related experience
  • DEP in Accounting or equivalent
  • Accounting / Bookkeeping knowledge and experience
  • English and French (spoken and written) is mandatory
