Sales Development Representative

Why we need you:

The primary objective of this role is to prospect on medium to large businesses to uncover opportunities for Inoria’s portfolio of Contact Center Services and Solutions. Working directly with the sales and marketing teams, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for several campaigns to generate new leads, appointments, and opportunities. the SDR will be one of the primary users and owner of our Marketing Automation Software and CRM (Hubspot and Salesforce) to identify and manage new opportunities.

 

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Implement prospecting strategies to achieve targets
  • Utilize existing calling list of companies and develop new prospects database through research and/or lead subscriptions
  • Telephone, Email, and LinkedIn management of territory comprising of new prospective clients (mostly outbound with the United States and parts of Canada)
  • Generate and manage Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) in order to convert them to sales opportunities, for the Account Executive team
  • Leverage internal software tools or external platforms to enhance Lead Generation and nurturing activities
  • Determine customer needs through questioning techniques in order to recommend specific services, products and solutions
  • Setup introductory conference calls or face-to-face appointments for sales staff
  • Support in the development of sales/marketing material for clients
  • Occasionally travel and participate in regional networking events
  • Participate in building our CRM and marketing automation system and procedures
  • Actively participate and bring new ideas or methodologies to optimize our Lead Generation processes
  • Assist with administrative tasks, if needed, to support the sales and marketing teams (order management; database administration; list building)

Technical skills:

  • Strong conversational (verbal and written) and sales skills
  • Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Strong skills in Marketing Automation Software and/or CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prepare reports to document activities/results in Excel

Qualifications and pre-requisites:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in outbound sales or prospecting
  •  

    Experience communicating and selling IT Business Solutions & Services, preferably Contact Center Solutions.

  • Proven track record of highly effective sales techniques through the phone and email resulting in consistently exceeding prospecting objectives
  • A good business sense-is able to analyze a client’s business, understand the financial metrics, and demonstrate to clients the cost/benefit of the service offering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
